Learn the craft of making sauerkraut, an easy way to bring probiotics into your life. We will have a hands-on class where everyone will participate in chopping cabbage, adding flavors such as ginger, carrot, or traditional dill. We will also make kim chee, the Korean spicy version of kraut that can include other greens such as mustard, spices, and fish sauce. Students will walk away with a jar of their own kraut, and knowledge as to how and why to include this traditional fermentation in your diet.
